Smoking in the car, is more dangerous than in the night club
In order to prevent the harmful effects of nicotine on passive smokers, particularly children, smoking in cars should be forbidden. Moreover, toxin levels of smoke in the car 23 times higher than in the smoke-filled bar.
Prohibition of smoking in cars is promoted by The British Medical Association (BMA) after discovering the evidence of the high levels of toxic chemicals in cars used for smoking.
BMA said the purpose of the prohibition is to protect children from harmful chemicals from cigarettes. Children are most vulnerable because their bodies easily absorb pollutants while the immune system is not yet well developed.
Research also suggests passive smokers may experience health problems such as sudden infant death syndrome, asthma, and impaired lung function.
Although until now there is no law governing the prohibition of smoking in the car, but in some countries such as Canada, the United States, Australia, and South Africa have started to socialize the danger of smoking in the car.
In the UK, this prohibition campaign controversy, especially from the smokers. They worry that after the ban on the private car would later also banned smoking in the house.
